News and Events for EP Alumni
As spring has sprung, we have events for alumni to mark on their calendars.
Alumni Hoops
The annual EP alumni basketball game will be held April 9, starting at noon in the varsity gymnasium on campus. Active EPs and alumni will have the gym for three hours of exercise and humiliation. Postgame festivities will follow. Questions go to Steve Hamel '87. Alumni Golf It's never too early to plan for a round of golf with your brothers. The annual golf outing will be held at Grove City Country Club on July 23, with shotgun start after lunch. More details to follow. Mark your calendar and assemble your foursome. EPAA Scholarship Funds The generosity of EP alumni continues to reach new heights. During the 2021-2022 academic year, scholarships totaling $37,100 were awarded to 8 active EPs. That's an amount that is greater than the total fund balance of any other frat or sorority. A total of $647,000 in gifts had been received by EP alumni since the founding of the Guthrie Scholarship Funds and $225,000 in cumulative scholarship awards have been made. Internships for EP Actives The fraternity's current president, Noah Yeck, reached out to the EPAA to inquire about internship opportunities for the actives. If you are an employer who hires summer interns, please consider one of these young men for a spot. If you have an opportunity, please contact Noah and he will connect interested actives living in your area.
Homecoming 2022 GCC homecoming weekend is September 30-October 2, 2022. EPAA will host a dinner dance at The Camelot in Warrendale, near the I-79/PA Turnpike intersection, on Saturday, October 1. Details of the dinner will follow later this year but mark your calendars, For classes ending in 2 and 7, this will be a milestone year.
